Table of Hose Chemical Resistance

Note:The following table is for reference on materials only, and is not guaranteed by Toyox.
When using the data in the tables, please exercise your own judgment based on evaluation in practice.

◎: Excellent, can be used without problems.
◯: Good, may be affected to some extent, but can be used under general conditions.
△: Fair, need to verify suitability.
×: Poor, cannot be used.
–: No data
*Unless otherwise mentioned, the concentration of the solution is that of the saturated solution and the temperature is the room temperature.

Note:
This table is about the hose’s flow path (inner surface), and was prepared based on the press sheet immersion tests and references. The data does not apply to practical use. The data may differ according to conditions such as usage methods, temperature, pressure, concentration and period, etc., so check the detailed working conditions and contact us through our web site or toll-free number.

TOYOFUSSO hoses use fluorine resin on the innermost layer. It is resistant to flammable oils such as gasoline and solvents such as toluene, but the host must be treated with a metal grounding band to reduce the effect of static electricity during use. Conversely, these fluids are highly flammable and may be subject to Fire Defense Law Standards depending on the application. Consult with your local fire department for details.
